Service Warranty
M&J's Mobile Mechanics ("the Company") stands behind the quality of its workmanship. This Service Warranty explains what is covered, what is not covered, and the customer's responsibilities for making a warranty claim.
1. Workmanship Warranty
M&J's Mobile Mechanics warrants its workmanship for 60 days from the date the service is completed.
If a repair fails due to an error in workmanship during the warranty period, the Company will inspect the vehicle and, if the issue is determined to be covered under this warranty, correct the workmanship at no additional labor charge.
This warranty applies only to the original repair performed by M&J's Mobile Mechanics.
2. Parts Warranty
Parts supplied by M&J's Mobile Mechanics are covered only to the extent of the manufacturer's warranty.
The Company does not provide any additional warranty on supplied parts beyond the manufacturer's coverage.
If a manufacturer approves a warranty replacement, the customer may still be responsible for any labor charges not covered by the manufacturer unless otherwise stated.
3. Customer-Supplied Parts
No warranty is provided on customer-supplied parts.
M&J's Mobile Mechanics is not responsible for failures, defects, incompatibility, or premature wear of parts supplied by the customer.
Any labor required to remove, replace, or reinstall customer-supplied parts is the customer's responsibility.
4. What Is Covered
This Service Warranty covers defects resulting directly from the workmanship performed by M&J's Mobile Mechanics.
Examples may include:
-
Improper installation of a component.
-
Loose fasteners that should have been properly secured.
-
Incorrect assembly of repaired components.
-
Work performed that does not meet accepted professional standards.
Coverage is determined after inspection by M&J's Mobile Mechanics.
5. What Is Not Covered
This Service Warranty does not cover:
-
Normal wear and tear.
-
Manufacturer defects.
-
Customer-supplied parts.
-
Pre-existing vehicle conditions.
-
Unrelated mechanical or electrical failures.
-
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, racing, towing beyond manufacturer specifications, or modifications made after service.
-
Damage caused by another repair facility or person.
-
Fluids, filters, belts, hoses, batteries, tires, bulbs, fuses, or other consumable items unless their failure is directly caused by defective workmanship.
6. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, the customer must:
-
Notify M&J's Mobile Mechanics promptly after discovering a potential warranty issue.
-
Allow M&J's Mobile Mechanics a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle before repairs are performed elsewhere.
-
Not continue operating the vehicle if doing so could cause additional damage.
Failure to provide the Company an opportunity to inspect the vehicle may void this warranty.
7. Warranty Claims
To request warranty service, contact M&J's Mobile Mechanics within the 60-day warranty period.
Customers should provide:
-
Their name.
-
Vehicle information.
-
Date of service.
-
A description of the concern.
-

The Company will inspect the reported issue and determine whether it is covered under this Service Warranty.
8. Limitation of Warranty
This Service Warranty is the only workmanship warranty provided by M&J's Mobile Mechanics unless otherwise stated in writing.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company's responsibility under this warranty is limited to correcting defects in covered workmanship.
This warranty does not cover incidental, indirect, or consequential damages except where such limitations are prohibited by law.
